News is the communication of information and events which can be delivered in various forms like print, internet, speaking, radio programs or sites on the World Wide Web and newspaper. It is reporting of current events usually by local, regional or mass media. If the current news is significant enough then it becomes history. Earlier news was delivered in the form of newspaper and through radio channels. But now there are various news channels, sometimes classified on the basis of area and on basis of particular language. English channels are international channels and collect and deliver news worldwide. For any specific region, news in particular languages that is prevalent in that area is delivered. Bangla or Bengali is a language spoken mainly South Asia which comprises Bangladesh, Indian state of West Bengal, Tripura and Assam. It is also spoken in some significant communities in UK, USA Pakistan Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE, Australia, Myanmar and Canada. Due to such widespread of this language, separate channels were made delivering news in bangla language. 
All bangla news can be surfed at various online sites like bdnews24.com, German bangla radia, BBC bangle news, Tehran Bangla Radia, dhakanews24.com, bangla express, in-depth news of Bangladesh, BD press, Bhorer Kagoz, Amar Desh, Bangladesh pratidin and many more. There are also some channels that deliver all bangla news in Bengali language. These are Star Ananda (www.staranandalive.com), news time, Kolkata TV, (www.kolkatatv.com).tara news (www.taranews.com), 24 ghanta, Channel 10 (www.channel10.co.in), mahuaa khobor (www.mahuakhobor.com), and R plus (www.rplusnews.com). In U.K there are two channels, bangle TV and channel S. in USA also there are two channels Rupashi bangla and STVus. There is an ATN news channel which is 24 hour news oriented television channel in Bangladesh. Dr Mahfuzur Rehman is chairman of this channel. It was founded last year in June 2010. It delivers news at different timings, like prime news, news hour, breakfast news, news at seven and around the world news. There are daily programs and some of them are weekly programs also. Its headquarter is in Bangladesh. Another channel is news time. It is also a 24 hour Bengali news channel launched in 2010 by Rose valley group private limited. Its headquarter is in Kolkata, India. If one is in habit of reading, then there are many Bangla newspapers like Ittefaq, Amardesh shamokal, Janakantha, Sangbad, Bangladesh Partidin. There are some newspapers that deliver all news of Bangladesh in English also like Newage, Bangladesh news everyday. |
